A huge upgrade from my old bike. This guy can fly down the hardest trails. The hydraulic disc brakes and the lock out suspension switch are the selling points of this bike, two really great features.
IMO, this bike is a better value than the 6000 as the only differences are different hubs/brakes/grips/tires and really only avid users would recognize the differences. it handles great and (a big plus for me) has a pretty normal frame. As I mostly have ridden road bikes, it seems heavy but not a deal breaker.
