The radical look and feel of SRAM's X-SYNC 2 Eagle chainring is a direct result of SRAM drivetrain engineers studying the performance and wear characteristics of thousands of X-SYNC chainrings. They subjected every size of chainring to untold environmental and mechanical tortures, abuse and neglect, in both lab and real-world settings, to come up with a chainring that would augment the Eagle drivetrain’s performance in all conditions. The direct mount chainrings for SRAM cranksets with the 3-bolt mounting interface. They replace your existing spider and chainring with one clean looking, lightweight, and stiff piece of machined billet. They are available in the Drop-Stop B tooth profile, which is optimized for SRAM Flattop chain. It is also compatible with all other 9-, 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains except the Shimano 12-speed chain. Wolf Tooth's CAMO stands for Chainline and Material Optimization. Available in various chainlines and spider configurations, CAMO spiders allow the use of previously unavailable chainring styles, materials, and chainlines in a lightweight, modular, and customizable package. These spiders are for use with the RaceFace cranksets that have removable Cinch spiders/chainrings and are only compatible with CAMO rings and bolts. Three different chainline options are available. The number and letter refer to the mm offset and direction from the mounting face to the centerline of the teeth: - M8 (minus 8mm - dished toward the frame): For 49mm chainline, used with GXP and long-spindle BB30 cranks. The EVO386 standard is designed for oversized spindles. CeramicSpeed's kit for Shimano allows you to install Shimano or FSA cranks with 24mm spindles. The cups come with CeramicSpeed Bearings installed. Both CeramicSpeed Standard and Coated Bearings are available. Both utilize super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The latter has an additional metallic coating on the races to further smooth and harden the steel, further increasing life and lowering drag. The design of overlapping cups extending through the shell for EVO386 reduce the likelihood of creaking and increase the reliability of the system. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings feature an average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock bottom brackets. That translates into frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which is the result of great design, hardened-steel races, and ceramic balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings are a step up as they reduce drag by 50% compared to our Standard Bearings and an improvement in bearing life by 60%.
